In May 2024, ProByte Pvt Ltd hosted its highly anticipated annual event at the Ramada Hotel, Airport, Karachi. This event was a grand celebration, not only of our company’s achievements over the past year but also of the hard work and dedication of our employees.
What made this year’s event even more special was the inclusion of our employees’ families, emphasizing the sense of community and unity that is central to ProByte’s culture. The evening was filled with heartfelt speeches, awards, fun activities, and a splendid dinner, making it a memorable occasion for everyone in attendance.
The event began with a solemn and beautiful recitation from the Quran, setting a respectful and reflective tone for the evening. Following this, our Chief Technology Officer, Babar Hussaini, took to the stage to deliver the opening speech. Babar’s words were a blend of gratitude and motivation. He acknowledged the challenges that the company had faced over the past year, particularly in the face of rising inflation, but he also highlighted how these challenges had been met with resilience and determination by the ProByte team.
One of the main highlights of the evening was the Increment Ceremony. Despite having implemented increments just four months earlier due to the inflationary pressures, the annual increments were deemed essential as a token of appreciation for the employees’ unwavering commitment.
Each team was called onto the stage to receive their increment letters, an acknowledgment of their exceptional performance over the past year. The excitement and pride were palpable as employees were recognized for their contributions, with applause echoing throughout the ballroom.
This ceremony was not just about monetary rewards; it was about recognizing the value of each individual’s efforts in making ProByte a success. The gesture reinforced the company’s commitment to taking care of its employees, ensuring they feel valued and appreciated.
Following the Increment Ceremony was the much-anticipated Award Ceremony. This segment of the evening was all about celebrating the stars of ProByte—the employees who have gone above and beyond in their roles. Several awards were handed out in various categories, each representing a different aspect of excellence within the company:
The Award Ceremony also included the presentation of shields to the CEOs of our sister companies, who were the guests of honor for the evening. Their presence and support were a reminder of the larger ProByte family and the collaborative spirit that drives us all.
The event was not all about formalities; it was also about having fun and enjoying each other’s company. Various activities were organized throughout the evening to keep the energy high and the atmosphere lively. Quizzes with themes related to the company and general knowledge were particularly popular, with employees enthusiastically participating. The winners were rewarded with exciting prizes such as earphones, smartwatches, and other tech gadgets, adding an element of excitement and competition to the evening.
One of the most thrilling parts of the night was the Lucky Draw for Umrah tickets. Initially, it was announced that two tickets would be given away, but in a delightful twist, three tickets were awarded instead. The lucky winners were overjoyed, and the moment was met with cheers and applause from the entire audience. This unexpected generosity added a heartwarming touch to the event, leaving everyone in high spirits.
No celebration is complete without a feast, and the dinner at the annual event was nothing short of spectacular. The tables were laden with a wide variety of dishes, catering to all tastes. From traditional Pakistani cuisine to international flavors, the spread was a gastronomic delight. Employees and their families enjoyed the meal together, sharing stories, laughter, and creating memories that would last long after the evening ended.
In addition to the dinner, a print booth was set up where guests could take photos and immediately get printouts as souvenirs. There were also other photo booths with fun props, and a media wall where employees and their families posed for pictures. These moments were captured not just in photographs but in the hearts of everyone present.
As a gesture of appreciation, gifts were given to all the guests. The ladies received beautiful items from Khaadi, a popular Pakistani fashion brand, while the men were gifted elegant accessories from Jafferjees, known for their high-quality leather goods. These gifts were a token of gratitude, symbolizing the company’s appreciation for the support and contributions of both the employees and their families.
The event concluded with speeches by our CEO, Kashif Hussain Shah, and our mentor, Burhan Mirza. Kashif’s speech was a heartfelt expression of thanks to the employees and their families for their continued support. He spoke about the company’s vision for the future, the challenges ahead, and the confidence he has in the ProByte team to overcome them.
Burhan Mirza, in his speech, echoed these sentiments and spoke about the importance of mentorship, collaboration, and continuous learning. He highlighted the significance of the merger with Coach360 and how it would open up new opportunities for growth and innovation. His words were inspiring and left everyone feeling motivated and excited about the future.
ProByte’s Annual Event 2024 was more than just a corporate gathering; it was a celebration of the collective achievements, hard work, and the community that we have built over the years. It was a night filled with recognition, joy, and gratitude, leaving a lasting impression on all who attended. As the evening came to a close, there was a sense of pride and belonging among everyone present, reinforcing the idea that at ProByte, we are not just colleagues—we are a family.
The event was a resounding success, and as we look forward to the year ahead, we do so with the confidence that together, we will continue to achieve great things.
